Our Story
In 2015, amidst a world that was increasingly saturated with fast fashion, a small but ambitious idea began to take shape. Braclo was born not just out of the desire to sell clothing but from a deeper passion—to change the way people viewed fashion. Founded by Chirag Khandelwal, Braclo started with a simple yet powerful mission: to create clothing that didn’t compromise on quality, style, or the planet.
The initial struggles
Like every great journey, the beginnings were anything but easy. With the fashion industry dominated by brands prioritizing quantity over quality, Braclo struggled to find its voice. The initial years were filled with long nights, tireless efforts, and constant challenges.
Chirag was determined to stand out in a market where trends changed overnight and where clothing was designed for disposal rather than longevity. He believed fashion could be more—something that added value to a customer’s life without adding waste to the environment.
But how could a small brand make an impact? How could Braclo compete with fast fashion giants while still staying true to its core beliefs?
The turnning point
The breakthrough came when the Braclo team started researching the deeper impact of the fashion industry. The facts were staggering: the fashion industry was one of the largest polluters in the world, with millions of tons of textiles ending up in landfills each year. As they delved further, Chirag and his team realized there was an opportunity to create something different—a brand rooted in sustainability, where fashion was as much about responsibility as it was about aesthetics.
This realization ignited a shift in Braclo’s philosophy. The team embraced sustainable practices, opting for eco-friendly fabrics, ethical manufacturing processes, and a supply chain that minimized waste. The goal wasn’t just to create beautiful clothing but to ensure that every step in its creation aligned with the values of environmental consciousness.

Transitioning to a sustainable brand wasn’t without its challenges. The market for eco-friendly fabrics was still niche, and production costs were significantly higher. Sourcing ethical materials that matched Braclo’s commitment to sustainability, while maintaining quality and affordability, was difficult. There were moments when it felt like the brand’s vision was too ambitious for the resources available.
But Chirag persisted. He reached out to suppliers who shared Braclo’s ethos, collaborated with artisans who used traditional, low-impact methods, and constantly innovated in fabric design and production. The challenge was not only to build a sustainable product but also to educate customers about why sustainability mattered.
Braclo didn’t compromise on fashion either. The brand carefully balanced style with sustainability, ensuring that their pieces were timeless yet trendy. It wasn’t enough to be sustainable—Braclo wanted to be a brand people genuinely loved to wear.
